Parking at Braemar Games
 

My daughters and I have tickets for the Braemar Games next month. We will be staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club Craigendarroch the night before. My concern is about traffic/parking - or more specifically, leaving after the games. We have an 8:30pm flight to catch at the Edinburgh airport and planned to leave Braemar about 2 or 3:00 to get to EDI on time. However, after reading some horro stories about the parking & traffic, I'm wondering if we need to leave earlier?

Leaving early you should be totally fine. Most people spend the entire day and don't leave til the final events are over at about 5PM. Count on a minimum 2 hour drive from Braemar to EDI (assuming you haven't left your bags back at Craigendarroch and need to retrieve them)

(Not sure I personally would have booked a flight the same day as the Games but that is a different issue)
