Parisian Starwood properties

Hi All,

My wife and I want to go to Paris and use our Starwood points. There are 5 Parisian properties. Has anyone stayed at any of them, and are there any recommendations? We are mostly going to sight see.

Thanks,
Andrew

We are booked to stay at the Westin in Sept. It has a very central location at the Tuileries Gardens...will report back when we get back...

Personally from a tourist standpoint I think The Westin is the best located

We stayed at the Westin 2 years ago. The location is great, across from the Tuileries, near the Louvre, and across the Seine from the Orsay. The room was very pleasant. I would recommend staying there.

We stayed at the Westin in January. Location is good in that it is quite central. Very, very high end touristy area. Hotel itself is fine. Personally prefer staying on the other side of the river.

We wound up staying at the Westin. It was very nice. It was a typical big city European hotel. Small rooms, and decent accomodation. It was a good location for all of the sightseeing we wanted to do.

I would agree with mjs, and probably stay on the other side of the river next time (but only b/c I already saw the sights on the other side of the river).

Also, I suggest everyone checking the Rick Steve's website as he has lots of good podcasts for the major sights! It was really great to hear the tour of Versailles.
