It is a standard double at both hotels. But, I understand that within that category there are greater differences in the rooms at the Saint germain des Pres. I have researched on Fodors and it seems that the Saint Germain des Pres may have some very small standard doubles or some larger standard doubles while it seems that the standard double rooms at the Madison are pretty much the same size - a little larger than what one would expect in Paris. So, we have some deciding to do. I appreciate your help and advice.
