Does anyone know the 2008/2009 dates of when the post Christmas sales in Paris start and end.

Dates do not appear to be posted yet. You can check under
'soldes hiver Paris 2009', but last year it was end of October when the dates were announced.

Are you only going to be there a couple days that you can pick? Because they always run for a long time, about a month, just like the summer ones. They don't announce the official dates this early but it is always some time around the second week of January, around Jan. 10th.
