In nice weather the terrace of La Grande Cascade in the Bois is sublime. I'd go for lunch, though, for that Sunday-in-the-park vibe.

Bofinger, or brunch at the Musée Jacquemart-André.

We took my granddaughter to Le Train Bleu when she was 6, and she had a great time. Any time i have been there, the crowd seems to be a mix of business people, tourists, and what appeared to be French families having a celebratory meal, also.
Have a wonderful trip!
