Paris: Where to buy unique playing cards?

We're in Paris Sept 5-8 (2007), and want to buy a couple decks of unique playing cards. Any recommendations?

Well they sell those Victorian style "naked women" ones at some of the book and print places along the Seine. Are those "unusual" enough?

Hi Tomboy,
Re unique playing cards. Look out at the bookshops at each of the Paris museums. The Piatnik brand (Austrian) is also sold at better department and/or gift stores plus most museums. The theme is often copies of old masters on two packs. My favorite is the No. 221149 Alfons Mucha designs (Czech artist) but this design may not be available in Paris. There are many many designs - you will be delighted with the full range once you become familiar with the Piatnik brand. Sometimes you may buy better at your local home museum. In the meantime play around on their website (English version of course) at www.piatnik.com. I am always on the lookout for their designs at home and in Europe. The 2-pack make delightful gifts ex Europe even if bought at home!!! Good hunting.....

Lots of stores sell tarot playing cards if you're interested.
