Thanks for the informative pics. We often forget that Paris, like all big cities, has its less attractive side never seen by tourists.
Some years ago we stayed in a beautiful home in Le Raincy
( east of Paris). There was a huge wall around the house and other homes in the area.
The owner informed us that their town had been " spoiled" by the population of Montfermeil and other communities nearby.
We took RER to Paris every day;it was a very different experience than staying in 4- 8th arrondissements .
