Paris Weekend Romantic Escape?
 

After a week in Paris, Im looking for 2 days of romantic relaxation....(perhaps outside of the city)<BR><BR>Does anyone have any suggestions of Weekend away from Paris trips that are perfect for a husband and wife before they head back to teh US to do work...<BR><BR>Looking for something nice (perhaps around $150-$250/night?)<BR><BR>Thanks!

Hotel De Lutece on Ile St. Louis represents a great bargain at $150 or less. Location's exquisite. Nice rooms, but small. All the conveniences. Room service with nice breakfast. Helpful desk. Great taxi service when you need it. Just the place when you're in Paris for a quick visit, and you want that magic Paris oomph, and you want it fast.

Might be a touch outside that price range (above) - - but you never know about special deals.<BR><BR>And it's superb - - Chateau d'Esclimont in St. Symphorien. What season? It makes a difference with some hotels that have romantic outdoor settings.

Rhett and I stayed at the Lutece on the Ille St Louis for a weekend a couple of years ago.It was sooo romantic,looking out the window over the rooftops..a tiny room and a big bathroom, big soft bed.All one needs for romance! Have a lovely time~

Try Royal Champagne in Champillon. It's a Relais and Chateaux so you can get more info on their website. Only a few hours drive from Paris, but a world away.
