Paris weather
Has anyone been to Paris in early November? What is the weather like, is it the rainy season and what shall we bring to wear? Thanks

We go to Paris every year , usually the first weeks in November. It's never been especially rainy, mostly a light drizzle. It is not particulary cold either. last year I had to remove the zip in liner from my rain coat.

Nobody can predict the weather. Just go online and check a day or two before you leave and plan accordingly. I've been in November when it was 70 degrees and also when it was snowing. Weather questions are unanswerable.

You can go to Weather Underground, put Paris in the location and click on the "Trip Planner" button. Enter the dates and it will show the weather since 1996. It easier to just give you the link. I have got to figure out how to use TinyURL.

Yes.
we did have some rain. I had a lather jacket to weat at night - during the day a plain raincoat - no liner - was fine. |
Not sure this is much help, but I have found it to be very much like New England in November....that said somewhat unpredicatble. One year I had to buy a heavy Winter coat and the next I wore short sleaves.
St Cirq is right - check before you go. |
But it is, in fact, a rainier month than many others, that is just a statistical fact. There are some months that are rainier, May is the worst.

It almost never freezes in November in Paris, if that helps.
