Paris Viste Card - Please Help!

I am planning to purchase the Paris Viste Pass that covers zones 1-5. I am staying in Adrondissement 16. Does anyone know if Adrondissement 16 will be covered in these zones? Thank you!

The 16th is included in your pass.

Where will you be traveling outside of the center of Paris? Will you be using the pass on the RER from the airport? It might be more economical to buy the Zone 1-3, and then buy any other tickets separately... the trip from the airport is about 8€, and a round-trip to Versailles is about 5-6€.

Don't buy the pass in advance, as it will cost more. Just get it at any metro or RER station, probably tourist offices, too.

We plan on taking a shuttle to and from CDG. Besides Versaille, I don't think that we will be going anywhere outside of the center of Paris. We'll be hitting up all the touristy sites. Do you think that we'll be okay with the pass that covers zones 1-3? Thank you!

Definitely go with the pass that covers zones 1-3, and as suggested by TravelNut, buy a seperate fare on the day you want to visit Versailles.

The Paris Visite card is a tourist rip-off. Compare the daily cost of a PV for 1, 2, 3, or 5 days with the Mobilis (one-day) pass at €5.30:

If you plan to buy more than €15.40 worth of public transit in a Monday-Sunday period, the Carte Orange is an even better deal. The RATP doesn't advertise these products to tourists. It is true that Paris Visite includes some twofers, but you really have to do a lot of things that are covered by the coupons to come out ahead.

p.s. If you're under 26, the <i>Carte Jeunes</i> does the same thing as a Zones 1-3 Mobilis, and costs &euro;3.20 for a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday. A 5-zone will get you to and from CDG, Disneyland, or Versailles for &euro;6.40

I've never heard of the Mobilis pass. Where can I get more information on it? Thank you!
