Paris Visite passes - which ones?

6 days in Paris+ 1 way tix to CDG - which pass?

We are taking the TGV from Avignons to Gare du Nord on a Tuesday. Transfer to another train to get to our apartment Metro stop.
Spending 6 full days in Paris. Then returning to CDG for flight stateside. Should we purchase two 3 day, zone 1-3 passes and then a separate metro tix to airport the morning of departure?

We probably won't go into the higher zones for any sightseeing.

Thank you!

Two Paris Visite passes will cost 43.20€.

A Navigo Découverte card will cost 5€ (you will need a 25mmx30mm profile picture) and zone 1-2 coverage lasting until Sunday will cost 19.15€.

The separate métro/RER B to CDG ticket will cost 9.25€.

thank you.

we still have monday before our tuesday departure. ???

no matter what, I guess we are still stuck with the 9 euro tix to CDG.

also, I read somewhere that the french make it impossible for US citizens to get the ND card. any comment on that?

Do I need a new a new vavigo paris since my last visit?

I read somewhere that the french make it impossible for US citizens to get the ND card.

What you read is incorrect. Citizenship has nothing to do with purchasing the week long Navigo Découverte (the week meaning from Monday to Sunday).

The ND card itself is valid for ten years and if you have one, all you need do is recharge it with the range (from zone 1-5) commensurate with your needs.

Sarastro is correct, the ND is very easy to get for any nationality and for the most part much cheaper than the Visite. The caveat is that ND goes Mon-Sun, where the Visite can start/stop on any day. As to the photo, at many locations there is a photo booth to get the picture.
