Paris Update for US Educators

Just back from Paris...Bring your staff id with a photo and you will receive reduced admission to all the national museums and monuments.

I came back this past Sunday and we weren't able to get reduced rates at the D'Orsay or Louvre. We did get a reduced rate at the Pantheon. I thought the law had changed, but the ticket person at the D'Orsay said no. I told him I had read information in the NYTimes that said differently.

Crazy. We did get reduced at the D'Orsay!!! Louvre, no but were told it was because we were there after 4 and it was reduced already. Arc and Catacombs, yes. Paris Story movie- yes. Cannot think where else off hand.

Many places in Paris will require non EU students or educators to have the ISIC card or teacher equivalent.
