Paris Tours, who does it best?
hello, i am helping my parents to research a trip for paris in the fall.
they are both around 70 years old and i think a group tour with people around their age would be great. they did this sort of thing in Ireland and it worked well. is there a company that does a great job of this? they are interested in paris for the majority of the trip and then also a trip to the countryside for a couple of days if possible. i would appreciate any advice or suggestions... thanks-lynnie |
If they had a company they liked in Ireland, I would consider the same company, if possible. I'll admit I don't know of any considered the best, but I've heard good things about Tauck and Trafalgar for middle of the road tours. If they are fairly active, you might look into Rick Steves tours. What is the budget level and what company did they use before? that might help people give suggestions

Look into Odysseys Unlimited. This company is geared to
seniors and has a very nice trip to France. It may not spend as much of the trip in Paris itself but would allow them to see some of the countryside. The groups are small. Pat |
hi- the company they used before was just in Ireland....the budget is around $4000 i would say.

You didn't say if the $4,000 is per person or total for the land tour but here's a company that does Paris only and comes close to your budget.
http://www.maupintour.com/Destinatio...=21&PackID=170 I'm not crazy about the hotel location and you would have to call to find out how many people are on the tour. I would call the company they used in Ireland and find out if they have an affiliate in Paris. Your parents can also book individual bus or walking tours that go to various locations in Paris. http://www.parismuse.com/ http://www.contexttravel.com/city/Paris http://www.paris-walks.com/ http://www.newparistours.com/index.p...d=17&Itemid=30 http://frenchmystiquetours.com/ http://www.parisiendunjour.fr/ http://en.parisvision.com/ |
