I heartily second the recommendation for the French Revolution tour. I took it my first day in Paris and it was a great way to get oriented, and a chance to walk by a few places I might have missed/skipped on my own. Fun, informative, quick, and ended in an area well worth exploring for drinks and people-watching.

We really enjoyed our Fat Tire Night Tour, our first night in Paris. Gave us a great overview and a feel for distances. This tour includes a one way bike ride, then a river cruise with wine past the sparkling Eiffel. About 15 people were on the tour.

Fat Tire also has a Versaille tour, if we were going to visit Versaille, this seems like a good way to cover the large area, so we'd probably go that way.
