Paris Tour in October
 

What's the best way to tour Paris in mid October if we only have 2 days there? Too cold for the hop on hop off bus?

I'm not sure how the weather will be in October (prob a bit transitional), but if you do find it cold and want to use a sightseeing bus, I just read about a new one the other day. It's not hop-on-hop-off, but you stay on it, and it has a glass ceiling up top so you can still see out and not freeze. The upper deck tickets are more expensive than the downstairs ones because the views are better. I'll find the information when I'm not on my phone and post.

It us usually mild in Paris in Oct and even into Nov. I wouldn't worry about the weather. I'd be more inclined to hop on the 69 bus and get off when I fewlt like it rather than paying a big amount for a hop on hop off. But then I've been to Paris over 20 times and am used toi the buses

I've been on November where I could have worn short sleeves. So I would not assume cold weather.

With such a short time, bus tours are one choice. Parisvision and Cityrama have a menu of choices.

Paris is a great walking city. I might do a short bus tour, and walk the rest of the time. You don;t want to spend all of your time just seeing Paris through a window, you want to be exploring a bit. People here can help setup a customized itinerary.

I would take one of your nights and do a Seine river cruise, taking one near the end of the evening. Vedettes du Pont Neuf is a good one.
