Paris to Prague to Budapest

Planning a trip to Paris..would love to add Prague and Budapest...Need to travel however by train...Is this doable in 10 days....Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think the distances are too long to do all 3 in just 10 days - even if you fly it would be very rushed. Using a train would take forever. (Paris to Prague is 11 hours and Paris to Budapest is more than 15.)

As Ny stated the distances are difficult with your time and travel constraints--- you could do city night line overnight train from Paris to Prague (leave Paris 7pm arrive Prague 11am, connection req) and then Prague to Budapest is a 7 hr journey, which you could leave super early or late, so the trip is doable of course but you burn a lot of time traveling with those distance.

Thank you T4TX and nytraveler..I think we will limit this trip to Paris and Prague..try for Budapest on another adventure...

Adding to what T4TX said. Leave Paris on an ICE train at 19:05 and arrive in Mannheim at 22:16. Leave Mannheim on a CNL train at 23:59 and arrive in Prague at 10:51. If you book each leg separately well in advance (up to 92 days allowed) on the German Rail site, www.bahn.de, you can get very good discount fares.
