Paris to Normandy Beach Trips
 

My wife and I will be in Paris at the end of May. We are interested in taking a one-day tour of the D-day beaches. Does anyone have tour suggestions ? <BR> <BR>Thanks, <BR>Larry

Larry, you can find a lot of info on the net about Normandy and the D-Day beaches and you can rent a car for the day. The Normandy beaches are only 150 miles outside of Paris which is about a 2 1/2 hr drive. I did a day trip and regret not staying over. There were a number of inexpensive hotels, many on the coast, and nice looking restaurants. The area is very picturesque.

<BR>I'm taking my parents to Normandy in June. My father was in the first landing on the D-day beaches, so I want it to be special for him. Donna mentioned some nice hotels. I'd be interested to know some names or where on the net I can get info. Thanks
