Paris to Madrid

Guys, just looking for feedback and ideas on this route. We are planning to head from Paris to Madrid around 16th April. The following is what we have got, the fares are one way for two of us.

Flights - 160 Eur on Easyjet.(CDG) 120 Eur (Beauvais) any other airlines i should try?)
Train - 215 EUR for a 2 berth cabin and 190EUR for one with seats only.

any other cheaper ideas/recommendations (def dont want to take the bus :))

www.lastminute.fr, www.vueling.com, www.clickair.com, www.spanair.com and calculate in the jaunt up to beauvais.. not sure it is worth it.

Remember luggage restrictions on airlines. They do differ immensely and are not benevolent with a few kilos over.

yup, i figured Beauvais would be too far... i think the days im traveling (april 13-april 28th) are by far the most expensive !

You might try some other french city you don't mind visitng that also has good train connections: Lyon, etc. or even Brussels or AMS and get another visit out of this trip if it saves you a bundle. You never know!

i figured out a way of doing this slightly cheaper !

London - Paris by Eurostar
Paris - Madrid by Trenhotel
Madrid - London

all for 300-350 quid... im glad to take the trains, theyll be point to point and timely...
