I would compare prices - flying vs. train. -- and figure in time saved by flying.

You might not be able to snag prem's all the way to Lourdes, but you surely can get them to Bordeaux. So you'd have to add the cost of Prem Ticket to Bordeaux + regular fare Bordeaux-Lourdes and see how that compares to fly.be or whoever it is that flies Orly-Lourdes.

If you're looking for a reasonable hotel in Lourdes, we can vouch for the Hotel de Nevers**, a Logis de France.
