Paris to Krakow via ???
We are planning a trip back to Paris, then on to Krakow. We need a stopover city along the way. We've been to Prague and Budapest last Christmas, but I wouldn't mind returning to either. My dh wants to go to Warsaw, then maybe take a train to Krakow.
Any ideas or suggestions? We will be leaving DFW the last of October, and have about 10 days for travel.

I am going to see Warsaw and then Krakow, I think it's a good combo to get a sense of Poland.
10 days excluding the flight over and back? I would have 5 days Paris, 2 Warsaw and the rest in Krakow. The train from Warsaw to Krakow is 2-1/2 hours and costs $52; I decided to fly -- 50 minutes and $38 on Lot.
If the 10 days includes over and back, that's not very much time for 3 cities.

I think that's right Logos, 52. 1st Class and 34. in 2nd. It's an hourly IC Express train, http://www.polrail.com if OP needs it.

Thanks!
Actually, this is our 14th trip to Paris. We'll stay there long enough for me to photograph the rest of Pere Lachaise, then take a side trip to Fountainebleau and Vaux le Vicomte.
I love the idea of taking a train! Thanks for the info.

Texasgal2 - I'm not sure how you plan to get from Paris to Poland but it is a really long train ride.
Sky Europe http://www1.skyeurope.com/en/
flys non-stop from Paris Orly to Krakow. We used Sky Europe for this route earlier this year and had a great inexpensive flight. If you fly directly to Krakow you could train from there if you like. Warsaw is nice for a short stop but there are other places that are worth a look.
