paris time to Charles de Gaulle airport

We depart Paris at 10:00 am on a Saturday;we will only be able to be in Paris for one night before. Suggestions please for a hotel for family of 4 where we can still get to airport getting up at a reasonable time.

i would stay at an aiport hotel. i would get it through priceline .
www.biddingfortravel.com and www.betterbidding.com will teach you and show you last winning bids.
you must get two rooms.

i procured the hilton 4 star for 76$ in march.

This way you will have easy arrival and departure and still use whatever transport you wish in and out of the city without the stress of calculating the possible traffic delays.

i would also only bid on a four star, as some of the 3 stars charge for the airport shuttle, i believe, and can further away from the main terminals.

without priceline, there was an IBIS near a terminal which MIGHT have a family room.

There are several nice hotels at the airport. Stay there, instead of trying to stay in Paris.

Do what is comfortable for you but I would stay in Paris rather than the bland airport hotels. It takes me 1 1/4 hours from the 15th district to check-in line at CDG using metro and then RER from Gare Nord.

A night in Paris beats a night at the airport everytime.

FYI, jl...

There is construction going on at CDG. How long the check-in takes is greatly affected by which gate you depart from. Just last week, I had to ride the shuttle about 40 minutes from the terminal to my gate. No kidding. And that was after almost 2 hrs going thru security...with carry-ons only.

Good luck and have a great time on your trip!

There are many hotels near the airport, I would google for rates.
Do not even consider the Raddison, as it was the worst hotel experience of my life.
The Ibis is 1 metro stop away, and very pleasant

I would also stay at the airport. It does not need to mean that you won't experience your last night in Paris. The last couple of times we simply dumped our bags in the room and caught the RER (which was 1-2 min walk away from the hotel we chose) straight into Paris. Stayed in town until midnight or so and caught the RER back. We then got to sleep in for an extra hour and half the following morning. Although it shouldn't take you anywhere like that time to travel into the airport, one tends to allow a lot of leeway in case there are any problems with train cancellations, taxis not turning up etc.
