Yes, Southam, the cinémathèque used to be in the basement of the building. And now it is indeed in that Frank Gehry building that used to be the American Center for Students and Artists and which went bankrupt from corrupt management. The building still has the plaque from when Hillary Clinton inaugurated it.

We are juist home from Paris, but will return again in the spring. Thank you so much for this post - will be a must see for us. This time, we enjoyed "Quiet Corners of Paris" by Jean Napais, though some of the "corners" described are now closed to the public. Please keep your suggestions coming!
