Paris Taxi Recommendation Needed
 

We're staying in the 11th and will need a taxi next week to take us from our apartment to Gare to Lyon. Any suggestions from our Paris savvy Fodorites for a reliable taxi company we could call to arrange this?

I usually use G7, also. Taxis Bleus are fine, also. http://www.taxis-bleus.com/

I too use G7 reserving in advance. There is also a taxi stand right outside of our apt and it always seems to hve available cabs

It has the english-speaking numbers for both G7 and Taxi Bleus.

I always use Taxis Bleus. If you go to their website I believe they have some sort of discount - no fee for them coming to pick you up if you use your cell phone to call/text them.

I have an on line account with Taxi G7 and order taxis via the internet but you can easily call them using their English language dispatcher:

Have you looked at your local taxi stand to see if there are usually taxis there?

We're home now, but I wanted to report that I booked online with Taxis Bleus and everything worked out perfectly. The taxi driver sent a message that he was en route, giving the make, model and color of his taxi, and he arrived on time.
