I can't seem to post to the Superthread anymore, but I saw that elaine just did it. Thought Fodor's killed it initially. Maybe it was a computer glitch of some sort.

elaine, that's a very interesting link you just posted. I've seen a black-and-white photo of that house (with the Chinese signs) in an architectural guide book. That photo I saw seemed to have been taken from basically the same perspective.

Please try not to top the Superthread. As elaine mentioned, this will show up if you type Superthread into the search box.

That way no one has to read through commentary while searching for info.

Honestly I'm not bossy (and certainly not towards my elders), but I do like order. :-)

Rather than ttt, why not just contribute something to the thread that will bring it to the top?

The thread will be easier to read and faster to load (?) if there're fewer ttts.
