Paris style show

We will be in France for 2 weeks in May, one week in Normandy and one week in Paris. I know Galleries Lafayette has a style show every Friday @ 3pm but we are flying out that day. I read here on Fodor's that Le Printemps Department Store has a style show on Tuesdays @ 10:30am

I went to their sight, filled out the information but failed to find a send button. Does anyone know if they still offer these to visitors?

Thanks, Carmen

I'm sorry I don't know, but I'm really looking forward to your trip report (!). I've kind of decided that Paris and Normandy will be our next trip, too (we've been in Paris a few times, but never to Normandy).

The Bristo Hotel also has fashion shows.

The Bristol Fashion/Afternoon Teas are on a scheduled Sat. 3:30 to 5, by reservation. They are 50 euros.

The May schedule will probably not be available until sometime in April.

They e-mail me each month with the schedule. This month there are 2, yesterday and the 14th.

I will be in Paris from mid April and mid May. I am sure there will be one while I am there. I will be going again. I did go last fall. Obviously, no comparison between the Bristol and what they have at Galeries Lafayette(I have been) and/or Printemps.

Just depends what yuou are looking for..

Enjoy...

Joan

Thanks to all you folks for your quick responses. The Bristo Hotel fashion show sounds like a real treat. However, we are getting back to Paris Sunday afternoon so Saturday is not possible this trip. I will certainly keep it in mind for my next trip to Paris.

We have travelled to Paris 4 times since 2002 and really wanted to go to the D-day beaches and visit Mont Saint Michel as well. We finally decided to go with a tour group for 2 weeks rather than rent a car etc. Even though I lived in Paris my Junior year in College and visited much of France, I am looking forward to sharing MSM with my DH as well as some chateaux of the Loire Valley.

As to a possible trip report, I've never completed one before but I did start one or two. Maybe this time I will succeed.

Carmen
