Paris streetwear July 2013 - what to wear in Paris!

Okay, I haven't done one of my "fashion" posts for a few years, so I have finally compiled a new one. This should really help the worry warts who don't know what is authorized to wear in Paris without getting in trouble with the fashion police.

This time I have done the report on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmMRW...ature=youtu.be

Shoot, when I click on the link it says:

"This video contains content from Warner Chappell and EMI, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."

Yes, I have already been advised of this. I will upload a new version acceptable for all countries in a day or two. Sorry.

Still blocked an hour later. I'm fashion-proof, don't go to Paris, not even going to France this year, but I still don't want to miss this.

Can you tell I'm avoiding work?

Can't see it either. Having just returned from Paris, I just want to make sure I'm not in there as a fashion "don't." Ha, ha. Paris these days, in the summer, is most definitely "come as you are." You see tons of jeans and tshirts, some shorts, the occasional glamorous woman in heels/a dress and you will even see men in Capri pants (a fright!).

Well, the new upload was rejected by YouTube as being identical to a video already on line.

However, the original link should be working shortly, because I replaced the audio with some "YouTube approved" audio -- it is an unbearable jazz piece, but you can always turn off the sound.

It just worked for me.

Not much "fashion," but there was also an almost total absence of cigarettes and tattoos!

I think you may also notice that a lot of the Parisian women weigh a few more kilos than they used to.

Wow, kerouac. Thanks. I've been thinking about trying to lose a few pounds before I leave; you just calmed my fears . What about mid-September? Will it be cold? (I'm from California... hot here through Oct.)

Thank you for posting your video! Although, I do have a question. Do you really recommend jeans during August? I live in South Louisiana where the heat index is over 100 every day and our jeans are packed away from April until November....
