Paris - Streets of Interest

I'd like to compile a list of streets of interest.

Not due to a major sight but because of the architecture of some structures, the activities that take place or for some other reason.

It could be a block or two or maybe even several blocks long.

Rue Dénoyez at metro Belleville is good and quirky.

kerouac,
Thanks. That's exactly the type of thing I'm looking for. A street could be selected for any number of reasons. Quirky could be one of them.

I'm not necessarily interested in Paris then and now. Now is fine.

The promenade plantee is on my must list for next trip.

And the Rue du Bac/Rue Jacob area as always, even though Madelaine Castaing's shop is now Laduree, such a shame. Even in Paris, the old interesting shops are disappearing.
