Paris Story - Anyone?

I first heard of Paris Story (http://www.paris-story.com/) through the Foror's Paris Guide book. I have searched this forum for information on Paris Story and did not find much information or review comments.

We have more than one week to explore and this seemed like something that would be different to throw into the mix of more "serious" sites and art museums like Louvre, Orsay etc. (and also fun for teenagers.)

If you have been to see this show - how did you like it?

I've seen a few people recommend it. I've never been

...."The main attraction, Paris Story, offers a useful (if pricey) orientation for first-time visitors to Paris who aren't familiar with the city's history, layout, and sights. The show's narration is a bit corny, and the slide-show technology is from the pre-digital era, but the color images are superb. The show may be worth €10 (€6 for children) if it's raining, your feet are weary, or you have euros to burn. "

It's not like a museum or exposition. It's a movie that gives you an overview of the city, its history, and monuments. I've seen it many times and posted about it in the past. If you do go, make it your first stop or close to it, since the whole purpose of it is to orient you to the city.

I've seen it a couple times. It's enjoyable, kind of an artsy film about Paris. It's just something to do to relax for an hour or so IMO, it isn't really a nuts and bolts travelogue or anything like a specific travel guide.

Correction - in my original note I should have said "Fodor's Paris Guide book". Thanks for commments, they validate the impression I had.
