Paris stores

This is one I definitely need some help with!!:) We (group of 6) will be in Paris the first of July. I have a best friend who will be celebrating a big birthday and she would like to go to a specialty undergarment store for a nice set of bra and panties. Can you please give me some recommendations. We are staying in the 4th. Thanks in advance!

She will probably want to familiarize herself with varying styles. Not all lingerie shops appeal to all customers. This might help narrow down some choices. (I assume she is willing to travel a bit to find the right shop.)

I would add Rien to that list.

And this might be of use too

And remember, sales start on the 1st of July (and usually earlier).

This years summer sale period is 24 June to 4 August in most of France, including Paris.

I highly recommend Sabbia Rose in the 6th. Beautiful things.

I bought my wife some very nice things at Laure Sokol last year - it's in the Marais, right near Metro Saint Paul, where rue Francois Miron begins.

I hope this friend doesn't wear a very large size, as it will be hard to find. I'm not even that big and pickings are slim in Paris.

There are tons of lingerie shops in St Germain, some on rue de Rennes, and Bon Marche has a good dept. It's about a whole floor in Galeries Lafayette. I hope you know how expensive some of these shops are. More moderate are Princesse Tam Tam, Laure Sokol, Etam. Aubade and Sabbia Rose are pricier, I think, and Eres.

What do you mean by "large" size? I think she is a 38 b/c??? Is that out of range. I am aware of the prices - this is a big treat for a big birthday. I wouldn't want to take her somewhere and make her feel badly about herself!! Please let me know!
