Paris - sincerely need level-headed answer!

This is about hotels again. I just found out that I could indeed get a room at hotel de college. I've already booked us in at the hotel suez. Would you change? I'm interested in hearing from folks familiar with these hotels and areas, how nice the two hotels are, location - noise factor, convenience etc. Price is nearly identical. I need to decide within the day, so need help soon. Thanks a lot.

I think you have already heard from anyone who is going to comment on either of these hotels. Print the answers, add up the pros/cons, and book one. It seems HCF was your first 'love', so just go on and move.

Don't worry. I am sort of familiar with the area - its oranges and oranges...apples and apples. Both will be just great for you!

Oh, I had the companionship of a huge CoonCat for quite a few years ... loved that cat... Misty was her name.

Travel nut - I hadn't seen some of your other answers. I posted on another thread but - get ready to laugh - I had NO IDEA I could click on my name and find my posts. Doh! Anyway I so appreciate the input. It's my Boyfriend's first trip to Europe and I want it to be nice.

Suzie! I have two of the big rascals sharing my home. They are the greatest, aren't they?

Does it really matter.........really?
Relax, plan what you will do in Paris, the greatest city on the planet.

Have a great time.

Hi
I get myself into a dither over hotels sometimes too, but there is more than one great little hotel in Paris--you may have found two that would be equally good for you. If you've checked here, and at tripadvisor.com, and all the factors seem to be equal, just pick one. While you are in Paris, stop in and visit the other one so you'll know (and we'll know) for the future.

i too had no idea u could click on your name & see posts!!

OK, cooncat, THAT explains a lot! I was wondering why you seemed to keep on asking about the same 2 or 3 hotels...
now you know how to round up all the input :)

Funnier yet - I've used this board for several years -for trips to Greece, Caribbean - and all that time I could have been clicking on my name instead of searching the stratosphere for my posts! :-)
