Paris Side Trips For Honeymoon in 2 Weeks NEED HELP!

Hello, everyone my brother will be in Paris for his honeymoon. I am in charge of booking. They have a couple of extra days. Have 2 options:
1) do a day trip to palace of versailles one day. the next day do a day trip to the mediavel village of provins
2) or take the thayls train to bruge belgium and spend 2 nights and one full day in brugge. going in june need help. thanks

Either one would be fine. 2 days in Brugges is plenty. Personally I would rather stay in Paris

How much are they bothered by touristy twee places? (That would be Brugge.)

How much do they like great, great food? That would be Belgium -- but I would pick Antwerp rather than Brugge at all.

But I think relocating for 2 nights is probably not a great idea. (They could daytrip to Brugge from Paris, or other Belgian locations.)

If they end up picking Brugge -- they are going to pick, not us, right? - they might want to print out this:

zeppole, I agree Antwerp is so much better than Brugges. I love Antwerp!

How about this as an alternative?

Take the train to Reims (in Champagne region) and stay 1 night or 2. Tour the major Champagne houses in the city, go on a walking tour of the Art Deco architecture, visit the Surrender Museum (where the Germans surrendered in WW2). Rent a car, or take a tour of the surrounding countryside and taste more champagne. Did I mention tasting champagne? What oculd be more romantic. Reims is a fairly short (less than 90 minutes, I think) train ride from Paris.

definitely check paris vision, i think, for their night tour to versailles. what you're looking for is the sound and light show at versailles. it's absolutely lovely beyond words...doesn't show everyday so google it now. i stayed in paris for 12 days. saw SOOO much, but this was the most spectacular. you also need reservations for your last night at les ombres, a magical restaurant adjacent to the tower. it's on top of musee branly. don't eat til nine. you need to stay til dark and see the tower sparkle. make reservations now if possible. the best way to end your stay in paris.
we also loved our day trip to monet's house and gardens in giverny.
