Paris, Scotland, London

Hello,

My Fiance and I are going to Paris ( and having our wedding), Scotland, and London for 2 weeks in May. we will be in Paris for 6 days and have a pretty good idea of what we plan to do. We will be in Scotland and London for 4 days each. It's the Scotland part of our trip that I need the most help with. We plan to stay in Edinbugh but I have no idea what to do or what to go see while we are there. This whole trip will be a first for both of us. Any suggests or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to Fodors. Congratulations on your marriage :)

After travel from Paris you'll really only have about 3.5 days in Scotland. So Edinburgh and maybe a day trip is all you really could manage. Edinburgh is a gorgeous city and could easily fill all your time . . . the Castle/Royal Mile/St Giles Cathedral; Hollyrood Pallace/Abbey (but check because there may be events due to the Coronation) the Museum of Scotland; a hike up Arthur's Seat with glorious views; The Royal Yacht Britannia; the New Town/Rose Street/Princes Street Gardens/National Gallery; amazing restaurants from pubs to Michelin stars.

If you want to take a day trip out of the city - Stirling Castle is easy by train. Or you can take a small group tour with Rabbies (never more then 16 people - often fewer. https://www.rabbies.com/en/scotland-...urgh/day-tours
