Paris, Salzburg & Milan in 14 days?

First time poster here. My family and I are thinking about going to Europe for 14-days in the summer of 2019. We would like to see the above cities but we are not sure if this is doable given the limited amount of time we'll be there. I'd like to start by saying that most of my family has not been to Europe (only person is our daughter), so we'd like to get some things off our bucket list in one trip, if possible. Some of the things we'd like to see are:

Fly into Paris:

* Somme trenches near Amiens
* Dunkirk & Normandy/Omaha Beaches
* Saint Mere Eglise
* LeMans (where they have the 24 hour sports car race)
* Possibly a FIFA World Cup game (one of the 2 venues on the west side of France)
* Paris
* Salzburg (Sound of Music sights)
* Possibly see the Austrian F1 Grand Prix (near Spielberg)
* Monza Grand Prix Circuit near Milan
* Venice
* Maranello - Ferrari Factory

Fly out of Milan

Any information and advice on traveling, hotel and food information would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.

Hi R,

>Fly into Paris:

* Somme trenches near Amiens
* Dunkirk & Normandy/Omaha Beaches
* Saint Mere Eglise*
* Paris

That is a good week's visit.

LeMans (where they have the 24 hour sports car race)
Possibly see the Austrian F1 Grand Prix (near Spielberg)
Monza Grand Prix Circuit near Milan
Maranello - Ferrari Factory

That is a good week's visit.

* Salzburg (Sound of Music sights)
* Venice

That is a good week's visit.

Now, how to stuff a 3 week visit into a 2-week size bag?

Enjoy your trip.

ira,

Thanks for the response. I was afraid of it being too much to squeeze into a 2-week period. We'll also have a re-evaluate some of our plans. At least we have some time to figure it out. Thanks, again.

If you want to hit all those places you'd need an absolute minimum of 14 full days on the ground and three weeks would be much better. To get 14 full days requires a 17 day trip in total. 1.5 days flying over, half a day to get settled and recover from jet lag, and a full day flying home.

And if you want to be anywhere near the Grand Prix you need to book months in advance and be prepared for sticker shock.

Three countries in two weeks is rarely a good idea.
