Paris Restaurant On The Cheap

We will be in Paris on June 29th for the day. Where around the Louvre can we get a good inexpensive dinner?

Also, what time is the best to go up in the La Tour Eiffel? I was told to go up at dusk, but what time is dusk at the end of June?

Thank you!

While waiting for some replies, I would suggest typing Cheap Paris into the search box and you will find plenty of threads on this subject.

I did type in 'cheap paris' but I am not certain where these restaurants are located. It is easier for me to ask where one is in reference to the Louvre.

OK, that makes sense
You will need a map sooner or later for your trip, so I suggest StreetWise Paris.
Also, for your sunset in Paris research, try this site:http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=195

OK I have eaten and can recommend (it is not Tour D'argent but good)

Café–Tabac La Corona
2. Rue de l'Amiral de Coligny (or, 30. Quai du Louvre)
Métro: Louvre–Rivoli, Pont–Neuf or Châtelet

the other is up the Quai du Louvre and was Cafe Pont Neuf

We like L'Ardoise at 28, rue Mont-Thabor in the 1eme. It is about a 5 minute walk from the Louvre. It is good and moderate.

Sunset at the end of June is about 10:00 pm in Paris so dusk will be a little before and after 10:00.

We liked Le Cosy. It's on the same street as L'Ardoise at 26 rue du Mont-Thabor and a little cheaper, I think. About 25 euros for the prix fix dinner menu and 7-8 euros for a half carafe of wine. Good food and wine, excellent value.
