Paris Restaurant for New Year's Eve

Does anyone have any suggestions on a nice restaurant for New Year's Eve in Paris that is close to or on Champs Elysee? Nothing dressy as those I'm traveling with are only bringing jeans.

Quite a few Paris restaurants only do a special menu on NYE. They also are booked way ahead of time. A friend tried 4 places a month ago before she managed to get a reservation. So you will probably have to settle for a cafe rather than a restaurant or bistrot. You might have better luck heading to the left bank or the Marais rather than staying along the Champs Elysee

Unejam1 - Frommer's put this suggestion on the web:

Best spot for a Family Meal -
The BATIFOL Chain, with locations all over Paris, offers quality bistro cooking in attractive surroundings at reasonable prices. The fixed-price menu is only 11.40e ($12.30). There are branches at 78 Champs Elysees, 8e (Tel:01-45-62-64-93) and Blvd.St.Germain. 5e (Tel:01-43-54-49-05).

Aparantly the Batifol Chain has ceased business and there are two new restaurants in their old premises.
Sorry about that folks -

Ask your hotel for a recommendation and help in getting a last-minute reservation. Bonne chance!

You could try Bofinger or one of the Flo restaurants (discount coupons are available online), but I do think you're incredibly late in looking into this. Most places have set meals and have been booked for months. I agree about asking your hotel.
