Paris restaurant for 60th birthday celebration

I will be meeting a girlfriend in Paris this fall, and she'll have her 60th birthday during that time. I'd love to take her someplace special, but not outrageously expensive, to celebrate. Any suggestions?

Le Petit Laurent... or check out Zagats then come back with questions.

You can't go wrong at Les Bookinistes in the 6th arondissement. I recently had what I consider to be one of the best meals EVER. It will cost you about $100-120 for 2 which is reasonable for a good restaurant in Paris. By the way, outrageously expensive to one is not to another, so you should really clarify what your price range is.

Le Grand Vefour, a beautiful restaurant from the Belle Epoque, has a prix fixe at lunch for 71E.
