Paris restaurant -----Coeur?
I'm going to Paris again in Dec. and a friend of a friend said that his favorite restaurant in Paris is a restaurant named something like
"le Troppe Coeur". My contact is not sure of the spelling of the first word, has no information on the location. He's sure the second word is "coeur". I tried doing a search in the pages jaunes and elsewhere, but couldn't find anything.
Can some knowledgeable Fodorite make a suggestion?

Wild guess here. Could he be referring to "Le Coupe-Chou" in the 5th? It's been often noted as one of Paris' more romantic (yet reasonably priced) restaurants, and is popular with tourists without being too "touristy."

I realize I'm dealing with incomplete information here, but the word my contact was sure of was the second word, Coeur.
Thanks for responding.

Coup de coeur
Restaurant français, très bon, carte à 170F, 19 rue Saint-Augustin, 75002 Paris, tel 40 15 93 60;
Found the previous information on a website on Yahoo France - oh the many joys of speaking a little bit of French. Hope this helps!

thanks Janice I had found that one when I searched the pages jaunes and pages blanches but it didn't seem close enough to the originally suggested name.
I hate bad information, the person who gave it to me meant well but is clearly not a Fodorite!
Any suggestions from francesca or other Paris dwellers? Elvira, are you still in Paris?
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to choose one of the thousand other restaurants.
