paris restaurant before opera
 

looking forward to seeing a ballet at the opera garnier in october. looking for suggestions for dinner before (starts at 7:30pm). we prefer an informal place, light on meat, not too hard on the pocketbook and easy walking distance to the opera. thanks.

des Capucines just around corner
from the opera.

Ive read about Cafe de la Paix, which was also designed by Garnier. Lot of history, busy, good for people watching.

It's near Opera, at 12 blvd des Capucines.

Has anyone tried Les noces de Jeannette? it's by the Opera Comique, also close to Garnier.
