Paris Restaurant
 

I've been reading all of the posts on Paris restauants and I want to thank you all for your recommendations. For several years on my visits to Paris I always ate at Le Chameleon in the 6th and loved it. Do any of you know if it's still there and if it's still good. It is no longer in Sandra Gustafson's book. Thank you,

I'm not familiar with Le Chameleon, but you can search the following web site which lists nearly every restaurant in Paris.

I think it's still there, but if you do a search, be aware that the spelling is "Cameleon", with no H.

It's in the recently-published Zagat 2005 guide to Paris restaurants.

I went last month. Yes, it's still there. Yes, it's still wonderful. Don't call between 3-7pm, there's no one there then. Go! Go! Go!
