Paris RER fares

I am trying to make a sensible decision about how many zones to include when we put a month's "Carte Orange" on our Navigo Decouverte card. We will go to one-way to CDG Airport, and probably take several round trips to places like Versailles, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Sceaux, and others. Is there any generalization (or even an approximation) about how much a single one-way" ticket costs between zone 1/2 and zone 3? zone 4? zone 5? zone 6? Is there a site that has that kind of information?

I stumbled upon this site recently:

http://parisbytrain.com/

Bon Voyage!

Thank you, Betsy. I've seen that site, and I already think 8,50 euros is the 2009/2010 RER fare to CDG. I would like to know if, for example, the fare from zone 1/2 to each station in zone 5 the same as that. And what are the fares from 1/2 to 3? to 4? even to 6? I haven't seen that info anywhere. If I could find a site that gives specific point-to-point RER fares, I would try out several destinations to see how it works, but I am hoping some of the Parisians will know how it works.
