Thanks for posting the nice trip report. Sorry about the forgotten luggage. It's funny (now) that your luggage took a taxi while you took the shuttle.

Ha! Thanks for the laughs! Francophile, I never thought about it like that- it is funny (now). Nikki, if you were to meet my husband you would never think he would go into a place like that. He laughed the most of course. But, it really was a bit tongue in cheek and not a serious "chippendales" type place. Check it out on Rue de la Huchette, right next to Bar Ambiance Latino. Most of the bartenders there were cute in a somewhat feminine sense and I don't think they would have any serious intentions for your 19yr old daughter(are you getting the picture now?)

Ha, made myself laugh...now I know Nikki's husband won't want to go in. If you look back at my post, you will see where I said my husband was like "No, Way!" Am I going in there. And then I give it a Larry, the CAble guy (if your familiar) "So, we went in anyway...." .

Oh, I totally got it the first time. But now that you have brought up the subject, I am wondering who else was in that club. I'm guessing it wasn't mostly families like yours. And the most impressive part of your story is that you went back again!

Hey, if you give me your email I'll send pictures . It was actually a mixed crowd (old, young, etc) All tourists I am sure. That is why I went back. It was just the tourist trap for an 18yr old on her senior trip.

Oh, and you think I am something. This is a fact: My 84 year old Grandmother who travels with us on cruises each year STILL goes to the disco with us and dances until the wee hours of the night! But, she was a semi-professional ballroom dancer once. It just goes to show you are never too old to have a good time!
