I arrive in Paris on the 13th May Ascension day and will also be there on the 24th May Whit Sunday aswell.
I've checked the Louvre official website and it is open on these days and the Eiffel tower is open all year round. Can someone advise How these days might be different ? I am assuming shopping centres like Galeries Lafayette Department Store will be closed and maybe some eateries etc?
I'm also thinking attractions like the Louvre and Eiffel tower will be extra busy?

GL is closed every Sunday . Religious holidays other than Christmas have business as usual

You can expect the main stores to be open on the 13th and the 24th. Banks, post office and some smaller shops will be closed.

Stldv, isn't the point of the forums is to ask questions and get a more personal answer than you may get with google?

Thanks for the replies(most of them!!!). I was after general information, with the intent on carrying out specific research on opening times etc relating to my intended Itinary; "Musee de la Chasse" opening times as an example.
With respect to searching on google this was one of the pages I looked at prior to posting the question!
