Paris public holiday 11 November
 

I just saw that 11 November is a public holiday in Paris. What will be closed? Will museums/ shops/ public transport be effected?

"Museums, monuments and other major tourists attractions... remain open on most holidays with the exception of 1 January, 14 July (Bastille Day) and 25 December."

On most bank holidays, the municipal museums are closed, but not the national museums. All of the major stores will be open as usual.

11/11/18 is the day we ended WW1. It is treated as. A Sunday.
For us we celebrate one of our daughter' s birthday.
