Paris - Provence TGV tix for 19 euros

For those planning to take the TGV from Paris to either Avignon or Marseilles (or vice versa), you can get a great deal on the new idtgv. I bought 4 tix for end-June for 19 euros each one way.

I was surprised to be able to purchase the tix for end-June, since the idtgv tix are only supposed to be available 4 months in advance. But I was able to pay for my tix and print them out with seat numbers, so I assume I'm OK. And it looked like you could buy tix for later in the summer as well.

To access the purchase page (sales are internet-only), look for the previous post on how to purchase PREM tix using the English language screens.

Hi krishnan

I am very interested in your Paris-Provence TGV tix for 19 euros. Where is the post on how to purchase PREM tix using the English language screens? I have not seen this post. Thanks.

The thread I saw was http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34513759 - in case the url doesn't work, it's a post by carcassone on 7/26/04 entitled "PREM's fare on SNCF Eng site".
Good luck.

Can the tickets be purchased from the U.S?

Yes, you can purchase them anyhwere via the internet using your credit card, and print out the tix on your own printer. I bought mine located in the US.
