Hotel or Apartment Hotel for 2 adults + 2 children (7 and 12)

We are looking for a hotel or aparthotel in Central London in mid-August for 5 nights large enough to accommodate our family consisting of 2 adults and 2 children. We are afraid that the hotels in Central London are too small for a family of 4.

What is your budget?

Can you make do with two double beds or do you need one double bed and two twins?

2 double beds perfect. someone recommended Holiday Inn Bloomsbury Russell Square. Have you heard anything about this hotel for families?

What is your budget? Sometimes it's easier to find a flat with a family - that will give you extra space, especially in the evening after the kids have gone to bed.

Hi- I posted a similiar request recently. Ignore my original HouseTrip links b/c those locations are not great but the suggestions given by other forum posters was very good. I especially liked London Connection but they have nothing for my dates.
