Paris: Plaza Paris Vendome Hotel
 

I came across this hotel while searching and I've never heard of it before-I think it just opened in 2003. Does anyone know about it? It's a boutique type of hotel located at 4, rue du Mont Thabor in the 1st district; Tripadvisor comments seem very favorable except for ditzy staff sometimes.

Haven't stayed there but you piqued my interest ... a web search makes me think its VERY modern. Has a full gym and an indoor pool...offers a masseuse...and a sauna. Those would be nice that first day, wouldn't they?
Not badly priced either...

It's strange I've never heard nor read of this hotel 'til I was searching over the weekend. It's in a great location and competing with the other boutique hotels there such as the Hyatt Paris Vendome and Hotel de Vendome.

It's an excellent location, very near L'Ardoise and Le Soufflé restaurants. You could even walk to the Place du Marché St-Honoré for breakfast or lunch at Le Pain Quotidien.

If you stay there, please report! I looked at it on the venere.com site and was very tempted.

This would be an excellent choice for all the folks who want a real (i.e., separate) shower!
