Paris - Palais Royale - is there wifi or internet cafe nearby ?

We are renting an apartment between rue Richelieu and rue Montpensier that does not have internet access. My dh will need to be on-line while we are there. (Does a blackberry work?)

Does anyone know of wifi nearby ? I tried to search here and google it, but all I got were hotels (for all you techie guys, will he be able to piggyback onto a hotel signal ?).

Alternatively, are there any internet cafes nearby that he can plug into their high speed connection ? When I looked at the previous message, I couldn't find anything in that area.

thanks!

1. Let's get this straight. Royale is feminine. Palais is masculine. The two do not go together. So it is Palais Royal (masculine noun, masculine adjective).
2. Wifi at McDonald's. Otherwise, www.wifinder.com

And while we're at it, "Casino Royale" is totally incorrect as well.

You're never more than a short stroll away from WI-FI Starbucks cafe - dozens in Paris now. they charge however.

thanks!

Surfmom, there is a Starbucks at the corner of rue des Petits Champs and avenue de l'Opéra. A very easy stroll from where you will be.
