I am traveling to Paris and Provence 9/28/01 (5in Paris, 9 in Provence). Wanted to know if anyone knew the address of the CHLOE outlet store in Paris. Also, are there any high fashion shoe outlets in Paris? All that I have read on this message board has been of great help and interest regarding all subjects. We have trip all planned out and many of you have helped in the plans--thank you. Any other info one might have on any other hidden jewels on any subject, pls send messages my way. Also, regarding restaurant JULES CESAR in Arles, Provence-should reservation be made from USA now for October dinner? Look forward to all responses.

Outlets are not really popular in Europe. They are a cheap and cheesy invention of Americans. Most Europeans value quality, service, and fine products and don't waste thier time "scouting out good deals" <BR> <BR>Try shopping on the internet.

Yes-make your reservation for Jules Cesar prior to leaving the states&gt;&gt;&gt; <BR>try to find an email address,if it exists, and email and hope you get a response..I know from hotels in Provence alone,it took me over 2 weeks to get a response....For a really special dinner, I would do it before I leave--I know when I go to NYC , I always make my fancy restaurant reservations 1 month in advance--and even then,sometimes they are booked up.

I beg to differ with "discount." It's well-known that Parisians love a bargain. Rue D'Alesia is a very well-known street of discount shops; Reciproque and others of its kind are famous second-hand shops that sell haute couture designer clothes "lightly worn" to Parisians and the lucky tourists who also shop there.

Born to Shop Paris is a starting point. <BR>I used it in Milan and it was wonderful. By the by I was side by side with Italians in these stores not unlike when I shop in the discount house of Century in NYC. Eight out of 10 shoppers in this store are European."Discount" does not have a clue". I would look on the internet for more outlets also.
