To jenviolin: What does that say about YOUR logic? You seem to be devoid of it.

I have been to Paris many times and once to Munich. And my vote is Paris no doubt. I will be there again in less than a month, God willing.

For your itinerary, Paris would win out by a hair for me.

Personally, I had a better time in Munich, but I think that's because I researched it a bit more. I found Ludwig I's gallery of beauties fascinating. Ludwig II remains an enigma, and his castles were glorious against the winter wonderland backdrop. Then there's Dachau.

Paris, of course, may have one of two things to see...;)
