Paris Nuit Blance October 2009

I am trying to find information about Nuit Blance for October 2009. Any help would be appreciate. Merci`

well, for starters, you are spelling it wrong (and the word you spelled wouldn't be pronounced the same way, and I don't think it's even a word in French).

It is Nuit Blanche, which means white night. I was there last year, but never got around to going to the one I wanted due to crowds and timing.

I think it is way too early to find a program for the 2009 one. But here's the city webpage on it for 2008 which gives you an idea

Christina is correct -- it is much too early to know what the program will be yet. At best, the organizers have lined up the venues and a few of the major events, but no word will come out before the end of summer.

The only thing for sure is that the Nuit Blanche tries to hit different spots and neighborhoods every year in a sort of itinerary, while avoiding arrondissements that refuse to participate (such as the 5th and the 16th) -- the mayor of each arrondissement has enough power to ban the festivities.

Thank you for the information

We were at Nuit Blanche in October of 2007. It was a wonderfully fun night for us, though I must confess we didn't make it till dawn -- we were in bed by 05:00. There are a few details in my trip report; see my profile page for a link.
